So the adventure is about to begin. The panic is starting as we wonder how we will manage to pack everything! As our temperature's plummet in the UK again, we try to remember what on earth one wears when the temperature could be up to 20 degrees??!! We see all the jobs that need to be done before we can head off and we panic again. And then we look at the possible itinerary and it is just plain exciting and we can't wait to get out there :)
We fly out on the morning of 22nd and arrive in Tokyo on the morning of the 23rd March and we fly back on the 6th April. Here are some of the possible activities we will be doing during our time in Tokyo.

Mon 1.4-Fri 5.4 This week has a variety of possibilities including some touristy trips but also a chance to pray for the team Dave and Heidi are part of and to do some more praying for them and their work.
Sat 6.4 - to Narita airport am
We are looking forward to meeting up with some of the people we met last time, as well as some of the people the Skippers have come to know in the last 18 months. This is a prayer trip where we can pray for the work they do, some of the people they link with, as well as the city. As it is also our holiday we are looking forward to seeing a bit more of Tokyo and the surrounding area than we were able to last time. We will try to update this daily so you can see what we've done as well as letting you know what we will be praying for the next day. Do please pray with us and for us as we minister to Dave and Heidi, and those they love and serve and if you have any words, pictures, encouragements for them please send us comments so we can pass them on.
This itinerary looks exciting and so very varied. We will be praying that everything goes as God has planned it and you will be right in the centre of His purposes.
ReplyDeleteWe look forward to keeping up to date with all you are doing via this blog, but don't let it become a burden (I keep a diary when on holiday and I know that, at the end of a long and tiring day, writing it when I could be climbing into bed can feel too much to do).
Love to everyone involved,
Eileen and John
